Italian Marble, commonly called 'white marble', has natural veining varying from grey to blue in degrees.
Nabresina or Crown stone is cream to buff in colour with small fleck markings, sometimes subject to slight
pinkish veining, this material is usually acceptible in churchyards.
Inscriptions are often painted black on the marbles, but dark blue, maroon, grey and even gold add an individual
touch.
Alternatively, letters can be cut and filled, a more traditional method of our craft.
